What the Rabbi is like
Who believes what we've heard and seen? Who would have thought God's saving power would look like this?
The servant grew up before God—a scrawny seedling,
a scrubby plant in a parched field.
There was nothing attractive about him,
nothing to cause us to take a second look.
He was looked down on and passed over,
a man who suffered, who knew pain firsthand.
One look at him and people turned away.

New Cover
I did a new piece of cover art for Rabbi Encounters today. I've been meaning to get to this for a while now. Let me know what you think of it. Thanks to all who read this bit of self indulgence.

My sporadic work
I'm really sorry that it seems like a long time between pages...and then suddenly you get two in a row...it all has to do with how much time I can eek out to execute these things. I really love doing it...I only wish I had more time.
To Coren...thank you for your kind words about my strip...and please know that I have no desire to be offensive to ANY people groups.

Hiatus over
Well...I was gone longer than I had anticipated. But now I'm back..and working to get this story out...it's roiling around in me, and getting uncomfortable.
Or...maybe it's gas?

short break
Rabbi Encounters will be taking a short hiatus while I'm in Ireland. I will hopefully continue chapter 2 sometime mid-May. Thanks to all who have said such nice things about the strip.

end of chapter one
As you can see...I'm doing this comic in chapters. This is sort of a rambling project...so sorry in advance if it takes a while for the next chapter to appear. I'm sort of rolling around a new comic idea in my head.
